Melita Koletnik is a practicing translator, translator trainer, and translation scholar witha a PhD in Translation Studies. Her research centres on enhancing the communicative language competence of future translators and interpreters, a focus she pursues as part of the LANTTI international research group. Recently, her interests have expanded to include the intersection of translators’ language skills and the demands of artificial intelligence. She is currently undertaking an MSCA postdoctoral fellowship under the supervision of Univ.-Prof., Dragoş Ciobanu, PhD, at the Centre for Translation Studies (Zentrum für Translationswissenschaft) in Vienna, Austria, as part of the HAITrans research group.
