Erasmus+ Teaching & Staff Mobility INCOMING

Colleagues from partner universities are welcome to visit our Center ZTW on an Erasmus+ teaching or training mobility, subject to ZTW staff availability and the profile of the visitor. If interested in coming to the ZTW with an Erasmus+ mobility please follow these steps:

  1. Identify a colleague at the ZTW with the same specialisation/languages/research interests as you, and contact then requesting that they act as coordinators of your visit;
  2. Together with the ZTW colleague prepare a teaching/training plan listing the classes you will teach/training activities you will take part in, including dates and times;
  3. The guest and ZTW colleague send the plan to the ZTW Mobility Coordinator (mobility.translation@univie.ac.at) with SPL in CC (spl.translation@univie.ac.at)
  4. The ZTW Mobility Coordinator sings the agreement and, at the end of the mobility, the confirmation of mobility.

During Teaching Mobility at ZTW:

Generally, for a teaching mobility, a visitor can teach up to two classes (2 x 1.30h) belonging to the same ZTW colleague. During the classes, both the visitor and the ZTW colleague responsible for that class need to be present;

As part of their teaching requirement (usually min. 8h = 4 x 1.30h) we request visitors to include a presentation (1.30h) for the ZTW staff on a subject of their specialism. This can be on their teaching or research interests, or even a project they are involved in. This will provide an opportunity for other ZTW members of staff to meet with the guest. For this activity, the guest needs to provide a summary of the talk, a short bio and, together with the ZTW colleague to arrange a date and a room (contact SSC) and advertise these details to all the ZTW colleagues via the moodle ZTW: Lehrenden-Moodle forum in advance;

Please note that we cannot offer advice or support on issues linked to accommodation or travel.
